The Turkish language is widely spoken in many countries. It's the official language of Turkey and the most commonly spoken of the Turkic languages. The aim of this website is to explore the many aspects of Turkish grammar and language. Here you will find theory, examples, audio, video and many types of exercises for almost every grammatical issue. Both beginners and advanced learners of Turkish language will be helped in their studies. All the learning material is online and free. This website was created by Panagiotis Georgalas, who teaches Computing in Secondary Education in Athens, Greece.
 
The Art of Conjugating Turkish Verbs

Much of the content has to do with verbs. Turkish verbs are conjugated in a particular special manner. There are very few exceptions as almost no irregular verbs can be found in Turkish Language.

The structure of the Turkish language

The Turkish language is based on suffixes. They are used to express the affirmative or negative mood, possession, persons etc. The sentence form is: Subject - Object - Verb. In the website you will find many listening exercises and phrase puzzles in order to understand the structure of the language and improve your communication skills.
